"Without a doubt, authentic local Thai Phuket Cuisine. We are here in Karon Beach for 4 nights, been two a few restaurants along the beach , and they are tourist trap all cater to tourist nothing authentic. Most food are cater to Tourist with international cuisine and mild or meh Thai food the flavor has been mild down to cater to tourist ( there are a ton of Russian tourist some Chinese ) Wr dislike non authentic food. I am a professional chef , so when I travel I prefer local authentic flavor. At Pinto Karon on the first 10 pages of the menu are authentic local Phuket dishes .. the rest are more international.. it's is about 15mins walk off the beach or 5 min walk from the Karon Night market ( the night wr went a funeral was going on so the night market was close) wr had thr following dishes and it was as authentic as it gets, it was flavorful, local and delicious.. both curry had the right amour of heat and the right herbs unlike other restaurants where everything was mild down and sweet.. this was true Thai Cuisine .. Service was exceptional. Air conditioning..Great atmosphere ~Som Tam Spicy Papayas Salad Taňckuň Сомтам 木瓜沙拉 Delicious, spicy and fruity. ~หนูต้อง Moo Hong (signature dish) Traditional phuket style steamed pork belly with pepper and garlic. 230 This is absolutely delicious, similar to Chinese pork belly dongball meat ~Green curry Soup with chicken Зеленый карри 绿咖喱 Authentic, right herbs and right amount of heat ..perfect ~Fried Panang Curry with chicken Жареный Пананг Карри 炒帕南咖 medium rice ( for two of us )"

"The food was absolutely delicious! Flavourful, fresh and reasonably priced, with decent portions. I had the roasted duck in red curry and loved it! Also tried their mango sticky rice and it was very good!"

"We had a late breakfast at Pinto Karon, and it turned out to be a lovely experience. The place is nice and cozy, with a calm and welcoming atmosphere — perfect for starting a slow morning in Karon. The restaurant looks exceptionally clean and well maintained, which immediately gives a good impression. The food was fresh, nicely presented, and truly delicious. We tried a few breakfast dishes, all well-prepared and full of flavor. The coffee was great too — smooth and strong, just what you need to kick off the day. The staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive, and everything felt relaxed and comfortable. It’s definitely a spot I’d recommend if you’re looking for a tasty, peaceful breakfast in Karon. We left full, happy, and already planning to come back!"

"The food was amazing. The best Chicken Panang I had during the two weeks I spent here in Phuket. The Kua Kling Moo is spicy, but was delicious too. The restaurant has both outdoor and indoors seatings. If you are here in Thailand not only for the weather and beaches, but also for the food - then this is a ”must go”. There is no view at the restaurant, but this place is for sure worth a visit for the food they serve. My best recommendations."

"Pinto Karon - the best place on Phuket! If you’re in Karon and want a truly unforgettable food experience, Pinto Karon is an absolute must-visit. They serve the most delicious pancakes I’ve ever had - fluffy, fragrant, perfectly cooked, and they just melt in your mouth. Every time I order them, I think, “There’s no way they can get any better,” and yet they always do. A special shout-out to their cheesy breakfast potatoes. They’re incredibly creamy, with gooey cheese, a crispy golden edge, and the perfect portion that makes you feel warm and happy from the first bite. It’s one of those dishes you’ll want to come back for again and again. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff is absolutely wonderful: always friendly, kind, and attentive. They make you feel like you’re visiting a place where you’re truly valued. Honestly, for me, this is the best place on Phuket. Make sure to stop by - you’ll understand exactly why I’m so in love with this restaurant"

"We enjoyed a delicious Thai dinner here when we visited last month. It is an easy walk from our hotel accommodation.m, with only a short incline at the very end from the main road. There is some indoor seating but these tables were already occupied when we arrived so we were seated out the back in a covered outdoor area. I am not sure if they take reservations but I would do this if you don’t want to sit outside in the heat. The menu is quite big, there are a lot of dishes - I only took photos of a small section of the menu. All food was tasty, it was a step up from some of the other local restaurants we tried. As we were seated outdoors (under cover), we saw some wild life (geckos and stray cats). The stray cats are confident and as I have cats at home, I know to ignore them and definitely NOT feed them. However, a gentleman on the next table got up to feed the kittens and as a result they started to approach the tables and even confidently jumped up onto the unoccupied tables. I am an animal lover but this is not something to be encouraged at a restaurant. For this reason I have marked down the atmosphere rating. Overall great food but sit inside!"

"I've been here in Phuket for a week now. Going back home tomorrow. This was the first place my family really enjoyed their meal. The food from the many other places seem to be made without putting in the effort to please the customer. On the other hand, this place was different. The food was better tasting and well presented. We had the chicken dishes only because we gave up on the seafood during the week. The way the seafood was cooked at the other places was quite average, mostly overcooked and not fresh. Didn't want to chance it on our last night. The servings here are quite generous too. The place was peaceful and pleasant to eat at. Air-conditioning was brilliant. The place was very clean. And the food was great tasting. Would definitely come here again."
